April Showers

There have been lots of showers lately and a few thunderstorms.
Today a quick shower came through. The kids decided that they would
be creative and make some shelter.

Cade, Tyler, Morgan and Greg. (a friend who lives on Warner Robbins AFB and
his grandparents live in our neighborhood ) Greg has been visiting his grandparents for
the past week.

Cade after the shower.

This was the final creation. The buckets to sit on obviously.

Lulu

You would think that there was an alligator in there.

The beginning of the shower.

The beginning of the creation.

This was the best way to handle it but not quite fun enough.

It's always fun in the rain.

New Landscaping......Slowly!

We are beginning to do some new landscaping. When we bought our house
there were big, ugly, smelly bushes in front. We tore those out and donated
them to the YMCA for landscaping. Here is what we have done so far.

Jess, see my huge palm tree! They are very expensive so that explains the size.
Guess what, the palm tree will grow but my money seems to keep shrinking!!

Close up it looks bigger!

Lots and lots to do. We are taking it in small bites It's going good!

Savannah River Boat Cruise

On Tuesday April 1 we went on anpther field trip with our coop group.
We went on a hour cruise down the Savannah River . We learned about brackish
water and estuaries. After the cruise we ate lunch on the river front. It was really nice.
