Cade and Ian under the umbrella Wednesday afternoon.
It was raining outside you know.

It was crazy hair and hat night at AWANA last night.

Pretty Girl

Shhhh! Nobody mention it but I think my little Lulu
is starting to become a bit "girly." I'm so excited!

Look at those eyes!

A Manly Man Weekend

If you read my last post I apologize for my spelling actually I think that it was my typing.
I'm not sure all I know is that it was not a good thing.

Tyler had a really manly weekend that included playing with
a snake and 7 hours of paint ball.

Tyler and Daniel were in the woods on Sunday and they came across
this snake, of course the first reaction that they had was to kill it
Daniel had a machette in his hand so he chopped the snake with the machette.
Unfortunately the snake did not die I think they just broke its back and it could not
move. Well Tyler carried it around all afternoon thinking that it was dead or at least
just wiggling until the sun went down. Well this morning the snake is still trying to move
around. Against Tyler's feelings he finally went and let it out by the stream of water
to let nature take it's course.

The snake.

Tyler holding the snake when he thought it was dying.

Tyler went Saturday and played paintball for the first time. Tyler's friend Aaron
had part of his 14th birthday party as playing paintball. Tyler, Aaron and about four of Aaron's
friends went . Later Aaron's sister Kristen came who is Tyler's age and they played a little one on one.(Girls Rule)

Tyler's proud paint splotches.

Paintball can come with war wounds here are a few of Tyler's.
Just ask him now he has war stories.

Tyler's leg.

Both of Tyler's legs the next day.

Tyler's chest . (Third nipple)
Notice the bruising all the way around it.

You would think all these wounds would make you say no
more for me........ Nope, Tyler wants a paintball gun for his birthday

Huck Finn

As you have seen the woods have been the big point of interest
at our house lately. Well there is a stream of water in the woods
which has caused lots and lots of laundry for me to do.(Thrill, Thrill)
this has out the "Huck" in the kids. They have really enjoyed playing
Pirates of the Caribean. They have taken the top of the sand box and
started to use it as a float it is now named the green pearl!

Morgan setting sail in the green pearl. She was a bit nervous because
Tyler wanted to spin heraround and around.

Of course Cade had to get in on the action.

Tyler has spent the last week wearing his rubber boots more than
his shoes.

Tyler, "Captain of the Green Pearl."

Lulu forging the bridge carefully she was not thrilled when she
fell i last week. However Tyler is always thrilled when he falls in.

Never fully trust a brother when you are near the water is Morgan's advice.

Huck Finn at his best.

They have really enjoyed the water.

Miscellaneous and House Projects

Here are a few random pics first and then several house project
pics. We closed on our house on Dec. 17 so we've been doing lots of projects.

Lazy spoiled rotten dog.

Our little Hillbilly Rockstar. I walked in to find Cade "playing"

the guitar as hard as he could with this hat on. (how Cute!!)

Tyler was out working in the woods New Years Day and found a

new friend, this big ole toad.

Scott did a lovely job painting the hall. It looks khaki here

but it's actually a green color, willow tree to be exact.

Scott, Tyler, and Linscott cleaning out the woods. (I know ladies that

the boots with the shorts is exciting but he's all mine!)

Sometimes you get more help than you can handle.

Tyler was a very hard worker and got lots done. He has been

going out in the woods and working every day. In fact his out there

right now in the 41 degree weather.

My hard workin' man.

Scott sent me to get a map of our land so that we would know how far back in the woods

to clear.

We put shelves in the garage. This is th right side with our table

now we are going to get bar stools so we can do projects on the table.

This is the left side with the kids shelves.

This is our empty floor because we have shelves on the left and the right!!

This is our television shelf. It makes doing laundry alot more interesting.
