Spider Web

Sunday after church we decided to decorate for Halloween we decided to make our own spider web the whole family helped. Its is just made from yarn. I think it turned out really cool!

YMCA 5K Runners and Volunteers

Our family volunteered to help with the YMCA of Coastal Georgia annual 5K and Kiddie Fun Run here are a few pics.

For those who don't know a 5K is about 3.1 miles this is about 3 seconds before the first place guy crossed the finish line. Whew!

For those of you who just can't see Cade as being as mischevious as I say he is.... here is proof!

I had to tell the kids to step back from the finish line so they would not get puked on, they acted like I was crazy but sure enough there was a guy that lost it at the finish line.




We all went to volunteer but at the last minute Cade and Lulu decided to run in the Kiddie run.

A Very Special Date!!

I had a really special date witha much younger guy Thursday night. We went to the Casting Crowns concert. It was great!! Tyler really wanted to go see Casting Crowns so he had a yard sale, he organized it himself and did everything by himself. He bought 2 tickets one for him and one for me (Isn't that sweet). I am so proud of him and I really enjoyed the concert. Thanks Tyler I Love You!!

Good Week of School

We has a really good week of school. We got lots done..

Getting ready for the week.....



Tyler is studying trees and plants we did some bark rubbings to see the different textures of bark.





They also disected a flower so they could see all the parts.

Morgan studied in History that after Isaac and Abraham died the Egyptians took over the Israelites God put all the plagues on the Egyptians and the king did not care so fianlly God put the curse of the angel of death killing all the first born son of each family. God told all the Israelites or his people to put the blood of a sacrificed lamb on their door posts and the angle of death would know they were Israelites or people of God and he would pass them by..............so we saved Tyler's life by putting red construction paper on our door post.

Lulu was also studying the five senses and the effect of smell to taste so we closed our eyes and held our noses and tasted an apple and a raw potato because they have the same texture...they could tell the difference but they also understood how all the senses tie together.

Lulu also went over the 10 Commandments in History.
