A Cockarelli Visit

We had a visit from Grandma Cockarelli and Uncle Jason from NC.
It was a nice visit and I think a good mix of laziness and busyness.

Cade and Uncle Jason really hit it off!

So much in fact Cade tried to make him stay.

Saturday, we went to the "big" Rincon Lion's Club Christmas Parade.
Cade really enjoyed watching the parade. The others were in it.

Cade had it made the people just walked up and put the candy
right in his bag, he never even had to get up!

We saw lots of our friends in the parade! (Hope)

Miss Dana

Savannah

Miss Ashley

Look it's Lulu.

Cade enjoyed Uncle Jason so much he made a special surprise for him.

Sunday, we went to Port Royal, SC the kids wanted to go to
the skate park and show off some moves.

Tyler and Daniel discussing those moves

Tyler thinking about dropping in...

Tyler dropping in (finally)

Tyler and Lulu (Lulu had the idea she rode down on her bottom)

After skating we went over to the beach and picked up sharks teeth.

All together I think we found about 15 or so.

I think the kids wore them out!!

Cade "fishing" with a stick

Just a really cool picture ( I was trying to take a picture of
something in the water.)

We had a really nice time and will soon be heading to NC.

Perry Tournament

Saturday , Tyler was in Taekwondo Tournament in
Perry Ga., which if you have good directions (not mapquest)
is about 2 hours and 45 minutes away, close to Macon.
It was a tough competition! The little red headed guy in the
the corner of this picture took first in all three events.

Staging, Tyler was in staging forever.

Waiting on the floor. After all this waiting Tyler was then
the last guy out of his ring to go in every event.

Finally we start.

Is it ever going to be my turn.
Waiting can make your nervers crazy!!

First was forms.

Second, Weapons.

Then sparring. (Tyler is in the red head gear)

Cade really enjoyed watching his brother. (Slept through the
entire thing)

Trophy time.

Though Tyler tried he was not very pleased with his two fourths.
Now he's determined that Valdosta in February will be a different
story. Practice, practice, practice time.

We are very proud of him it takes lots of time and energy to learn
all this material and even more it takes lots and lots of courage to get
out in front of all those people and and have judges looking
at nothing but you. Way to go Tyler!

Noah's Ark at Convenient Store???

You just never know what you'll find. On the way home from
Tyler's tournament in Perry,Ga. we pulled off of I-16 at the
Reidsville Stillmore exit for Scott to drive and this is what we found....
Noah's Ark
a convenient store that has all sorts of animals that you can
feed or just pet. It was great! The animals literally come
running up as soon as someone walks up to the fence.

Here they come. Everyone came to greet us except the mule
but we know how stubborn they can be.

When I said everyone ran, everyone ran!

Pretty colors!

Lllama red pajamas! He likes having his picture taken.

"Time for my close up!"

"This is my best side!"

"Does this fur make my bottom look to big?"

"Cheese!"

Emu!

Don't let them step on your toe! (amazing)
Scott says they look like dinosaur feet.

Cade is a city boy he called this a goose.

and this a baby cow.

He finally got that they were biddy goats.

Feed me!

Morgan was excited when the goat ate from her hand.

This goat started scratching his back on the fence so the kids
helped him out.

This goose has walked many miles I guess! (notice the holes
in the webbing of his feet.

Lots of geese!

After about 30 minutes the kids didn't want to leave. We had to
pry Cade off the fence and take him kicking and screaming
"I want see animals."
